Today, we took a quick, impromptu trip to the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. for a little paddle boating. Lucky for us the ducks were out in full force. You both liked the boats, and Zoe was quite good at being in charge of steering. Mia, you mostly tried to catch the life jacket tie in your mouth, but you definitely enjoyed the ducks and the breeze on your face. As we left, Zoe seemed physically uncomfortable, and then said, "Geez, the mosquitos love me!" I hope for your sake that love affair ends.
